Ceramic Kitty Pepper Shakers
- The Capital of Sarawak - Kuching, is known as Cat City. There are various legends as how the name Kuching came about. The most popular legend is that Kuching as situated along the Sarawak River, was infested with rats when the town was first developed. Hence, the early settlers reared cats to keep rats population in check. Then number of cats multiplied rapidly that on the banks of Sarawak River, visitors see more cats than rats. Since then, the town was named 'Kuching', meaning 'Cats' in Malay. We hereby are glad to present our creatively handcrafted Pepper Shakers as souvenir of Kuching.
